FHP Accounting, a specialist property-focused accountancy practice, is set to expand.

FHP Accounting has been working within agency FHP Property Consultants, for the last six years and is based at FHP’s head office in Nottingham city centre.

The practice is led by husband and wife team, Kirren and Kellee Quigley. Kellee joined FHP in 2016 from Yusen Logistics with Kirren joining in 2017 from the Sytner Group.

The pair identified a gap in the market for specific property administration and accounts requirements and found themselves developing a service that would be valuable to other individuals and businesses outside of FHP, which led to forming FHP Accounting in 2018.

Kirren Quigley said: “FHP is a diverse forward thinking property consultancy and being part of FHP Accounting hugely excited me to be able to work alongside a forward-thinking business of this nature.

“The integration of the accountancy and property functions enables us to be able to provide rounded advice and take the hassle out of property ownership from our clients.

I would welcome the opportunity of meeting up or speaking with anybody who would like to discuss the services we offer.”

Kellee Quigley added: “It’s great to be able to offer our accounting expertise and experience gained from working so closely with one of the largest private commercial property consultancies in the East Midlands and to be able to help similar businesses and individuals. We can truly add value and have real industry knowledge. We are FHP’s best kept secret that they are now sharing with the world.

“Having worked in a variety of family run and large PLC businesses I can see that the property sector is an industry that really requires a specialist accountancy practice. Most individuals do not invest in properties to have to deal with the day to day administration of running the property and that’s where we come in. We can get involved with anything from the administration, to contacting banks, registering for the right taxes and finding the best company structure for growing or existing portfolios.

“We really do get involved in everything that goes alongside running a property – recently we even took on the day to day bookkeeping of a local marina as this formed part of our client’s property portfolio.

“I would love to hear from anyone that we can help, please feel free to get in touch no matter how big or small your business is, or even if you are just starting out.”
