With Nottingham’s Lace Market area now thriving once more, our latest lunch event will give guests the chance to hear from the family business that is synonymous with breathing new life into the area.

At the event kindly sponsored by NG Chartered Surveyors and Invictus Communications, guests will have the chance to network, enjoy a tapas lunch and take part in a Q&A with our speakers as they tell about the lessons

Mich Stevenson

learned from regenerating this key area of Nottingham city centre.

Founded in 1981, Spenbeck is an award-winning, family-run property development company that gives new life to the historic buildings of Nottingham.

A commitment to preserving the city’s heritage lies at the heart of every one of Spenbeck’s redevelopment projects. For 35 years they have been carefully renovating Nottingham’s former lace warehouses and beautiful Victorian villas, turning them into creative commercial spaces and stunning homes that blend history, character, and personality with contemporary working and living.

Chairman Mich Stevenson OBE DL is synonymous with The Lace Market’s preservation and regeneration, spearheading it with brother Don through Spenbeck before founding The Lace Market Heritage Fund to ensure

Victoria Green and Becky Valentine

its continued development. The second generation has ensured this passion and commitment to The Lace Market continues, through the careful balancing act of bringing Grade II listed buildings back to life while ensuring they meet the needs of the modern company. They have recently completed renovating 30,000 sq ft of The Birkin Building on Broadway, one of Nottingham’s most important architectural and industrial gems.

Victoria Green, Spenbeck’s Chief Executive Officer, is responsible for creative space lettings and renovation.  Becky Valentine is the Chief Operating Officer managing the operations and residential portfolio.
