The signing of this lease fully vindicates our decision to press ahead with development in Bardon and the construction of this facility in partnership with Wilson Bowden. It comes in the face of continued strong demand from local occupiers throughout the East Midlands for new space to expand into”

Goodman Logistics UK managing director Charles Crossland said: “Throughout the East Midlands in particular we are experiencing strong, repeat demand from our customers for grade A logistics and distribution accommodation to expand into from across our expanding portfolio.

“With further additional development, already underway and expected to commence shortly, together with opportunities for bespoke development across our growing land bank, we expect to make further announcements in due course concerning the progress we are making”

Wilson Bowden development manager Henry Henson said: “We are delighted to complete the agreement to lease with Allport Cargo Services. This letting represents the strong demand from the distribution sector, to acquire Grade A logistics space in prime locations, such as Interlink Park, Bardon.”
