Morgan Tucker founder steps down

The man who set up engineering consultancy Morgan Tucker is to step down.

Matthew Tucker started the business from his bedroom in 2005 and has overseen its growth from a small Newark-based firm into a national concern.

Tucker said: “All businesses have to be open to bringing in ‘fresh blood’ and new ideas to ensure continued drive, energy and growth. I believe it is now time to pass the reins of the business on to ensure that continued success and give myself the opportunity to pursue other interests and opportunities. I will always be the strongest advocate of Morgan Tucker and will continue to support the business in any way I can. I leave the business in robust health, with a superb client base and outstanding individuals who are at the pinnacle of their profession”.

Steve Hall will now act as managing director at the firm.

He said: “I would like to thank Matthew for his efforts in making the business what it is today and, personally, for his support over the past eleven years. We all wish him well for the future”
