Nottingham recruitment firm commits to city centre

East Midlands recruitment firm Macildowie has said it wants to stay in Nottingham city centre, despite having to move offices.

Speaking to TheBusinessDesk.com, Ed Vernon OBE, the firm’s chairman, confirmed that the firm will be moving from its current offices at Archer House on Castle Gate in Nottingham, which has been given planning permission to be turned into student flats.

Vernon said: “It’s a challenge to find the right location, and it’s never easy. We’ll be moving this year, but we really want to stay in the city centre close to our client base.”

Meanwhile, Macildowie has announced January 2017 as the busiest month in its 24-year history.

The company has reported a 73 per cent rise in total enquiries for the month, compared to January 2016. It also surpassed its previous record month in February 2016 by 14 per cent.

Macildowie has offices on Nottingham, Leicester, Derby and Northampton.
