Distinct doubles up in West Bridgford

The Distinct team

A West Bridgford-based recruitment firm is set to double the size of its offices.

Distinct Recruitment has doubled up at the Landmark Building in the popular Nottingham suburb after moving into an 800 sq ft suite.

CEO James Calder said: “We’ve grown very quickly, but that’s because we’ve got some fantastic staff who are all prepared to put the hard work and hours in to ensure the business gets off to the best possible start.

“Their hard work has meant we’ve doubled our office space in our first year of trading, which is a remarkable achievement. But we’re not about to stop there – we want to keep growing the business – and our headcount in 2017. In fact, we hope to announce a few more senior hires in the coming weeks.”

Distinct was established in January 2016 by James Calder and Arran Jaiswal, but has already grown to employ 16 staff.

Calder, along with colleague and director Jaiswal, invested £250,000 into Distinct, which specialises in accountancy and finance, human resources, procurement and supply chain, office support and sales and marketing.

The pair have the backing of former Nottingham Forest and Spurs player and current Hull City captain Michael Dawson as non-executive director and recruitment specialist Paul Macildowie as chairman.
