Lincs software firm makes move to new £1.3m offices

Business intelligence and software specialist OrderWise has moved into its new £1.3m home just outside of Saxilby in Lincolnshire.

The firm has almost doubled the floor space at its Newton Court offices.

This office extension, completed by Kuno Jackson Building, comes after a busy period of recruitment for the company, where the headcount has increased from 80 in 2015 to more than 165 today.

David Hallam, director and founder of OrderWise, said: “Having experienced rapid growth over the last few years, we found that we had quite literally outgrown our existing premises. We’ve not only got a fantastic new building that’s seamlessly linked to the rest of the office, but we also have ample room for our 165 staff.”

OrderWise has also bought land opposite the premises to use as a car park for its ever-growing workforce. The company now also has a larger mock warehouse. The simulation area is designed not only to train new staff and improve existing OrderWise software, but also to show potential clients how the company’s products work in real-time, practical situations.

Hallam added: “The warehouse is a feature you won’t see anywhere else. It’s all about improving the capabilities of our software, allowing us to demonstrate key features to show its applicable uses in a live warehouse environment. It really underlines how seriously we take our products and services.”

“As OrderWise has grown over the years, our workforce has increased considerably. When you come to work, you want to be motivated as well as comfortable, so in addition to the bright and spacious new offices, we’re opening a staff canteen within the new building later in the year.”
