On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Chris Cunnington and Leiran Docherty

Nottingham insurance broker, Russell Scanlan, has added to its team with two new appointments – a private client account handler and a healthcare administrator.

Joining the team, based at its head office on Wellington Circus in the city centre, as healthcare administrator is Chris Cunnington, who has more than 30 years’ experience in the insurance sector specialising in advising SMEs and larger corporate clients about employer sponsored benefits.

Also joining the Russell Scanlan team this month is Leiran Docherty, who has been appointed as a private client account handler having previously worked at NFU Mutual in Cambridge for more than four years and Vasek Insurance in Nottingham.

Bryan Banbury, managing director at Russell Scanlan, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Chris and Leiran to the team in Nottingham, both excellent additions in terms of their experience and their personalities. Chris’s knowledge of the healthcare sector and his established relationships in the region will quickly help to expand our current service offering, while Leiran’s enthusiasm for the role and her ambition to develop her skills shone through at interview. Our team is now stronger than ever before and we’re proud to be able to offer our customers an enhanced service following our two new appointments.”

Mansfield-based promotional merchandise and business gifts company Pellacraft, has recruited graphic designer Steven Ward and production operative Levente Kosztandi to its team.

Steven Ward, from Hucknall, was previously a graphic designer at Sports Direct where he worked on high end brand campaigns and in store area branding.

Originally from Hungary, Levente Kosztandi now lives in Mansfield and has joined the company as a production operative. Accustomed to being on the move as a delivery driver, Levente will be swapping motorways for aisles as he busies himself working in the Pellacraft warehouse ensuring customer orders are prepared and dispatched to meet their delivery deadline.
