Lincoln technology firm’s chief executive to step down

The group chief executive of e2v Technologies, the specialist technologies firm which has a substantial presence in Lincoln, has announce his decision to step down from the post.

Steve Blair will step down after this Friday (31 March). The news comes after the firm announced this week that it has completed its £620m sale to US-based industrial conglomerate Teledyne Technologies.

Blair said: “With the acquisition by Teledyne now effective, e2v has a promising future as part of a larger, complementary group with enhanced scale and a wider range of capabilities to service its key customers. Now is the right time for a new executive team to lead the business as e2v enters a new chapter.”
