Health food plans for former police station

Canning Circus police station

The owner of health food lunchtime delivery service has submitted plans to turn a former Nottingham city centre police station into an office.

Jordana Chin, who owns Nutri2Go wants to transform the 2,561 q ft former Canning Circus Police Station on Derby Road in Nottingham into offices for her company.

Chin told TheBusinessDesk.com: “If the plans get the go-ahead, the new premises in Canning Circus will become our headquarters. We’re hoping to hear back from Nottingham City Council in around weeks.

“We chose the building because it is perfectly half way between our current base at the Ingenuity Building at the University of Nottingham and the city centre. We wanted to be close to our customer base in the city centre.

According to its website, Nutri2Go “aims to serve healthy, environmental-friendly and healthy alternative to fast food in an ethical and responsible manner”.

As well as selling its products online, Nutri2Go also trades at Sneinton Vegan Market and at The Park Market.

The former police station has been vacant since December 2016.
