Leicester conveyancing business swoops to create 1,000-strong firm

My Home Move, Leicester provider of mover conveyancing services, has bought Leeds-based Advantage Property Lawyers (APL), in a deal that will create a company employing 1,000 staff.

My Home Moves says the deal will mean it will be on the way to delivering 100,000 completions per year.

APL which is located in Leeds and was established nine years ago. It is the sixth largest conveyancing firm in the UK, completing over 900 sale and purchase transactions a month.

My Home Move has offices in Leicester, Manchester and Northampton. For the year-ending 31 December 2015m the firm made a profit of £3m on the back of a turnover of nearly £46m.
