Built Environment Consulting expands its senior team

East Midlands mechanical and electrical engineering firm Built Environment Consulting (BEC) has expanded its senior team with the appointment of Andy Weatherall as senior electrical engineer.

Castle Donnington-based BEC delivers projects across a range of sectors including sport and leisure, hotel and education.

With over 13 years of experience, Weatherall will be responsible for the management of the firm’s projects and takes BEC’s headcount to 19.

He joins BEC from Northampton firm Briggs & Forrester Engineering Services and prior to that spent 10 years working for the Ministry of Defence.

Weatherall said: “BEC is a firm I have had my eye on for a while because if its national client base and high profile projects. This is a great opportunity to work for an expanding firm and develop my skills as a building services engineer.

“There’s lots going on at BEC in terms of business growth and new offices on the horizon. I’m looking forward to being part of the team and helping to grow its service offer.”
