Tebbutt quits FHP after 20 years

Ben Tebbutt

One of Nottingham’s best-known property professionals has left the company he’s worked at for the last 20 years.

Ben Tebbutt has quit FHP in Nottingham where he’d worked since 1998, latterly as director and head of retail.

Tebbutt’s last day at FHP was on Friday (21 April), when he announced on social media that he was leaving.

He is rumoured to be teaming up with fellow East Midlands property professionals to be setting up a new agency-based property business.

John Proctor, director at FHP, said: “We really do wish Ben well. His focus and interests have developed in such a way that it makes sense for him to continue them under a new guise.

“Ben’s departure opens new opportunities for FHP and will benefit other people within the business. We’re also looking to make one or two key appointments to continue our expansion plans, so this is as much an opportunity for FHP as it is for Ben.”

Tebbutt has recently helped fast-expanding Nottingham coffee chain 200 Degrees in its expansion plans, including its Birmingham opening in The Grand on Colmore Row.
