Nottingham security firm reveals designs for new HQ

A Nottingham security firm has revealed designs for what it hopes will be its new head office in the city centre.

Magpie Security wants to build its new headquarters on land which is currently a car park on the corner of Pemberton Street and Canal Street.

The firm has applied to Nottingham City Council to extend the use of the land as a car park, which it says will help fund the planning application for the new building.

Nottingham City Council is said to be in talks with Grace Machin Planning & Property to finalise the proposals for the new headquarters.

Magpie wants to extend the use of the site for another three years. A planning statement reads: “The continued temporary use of the site as a car park is absolutely critical to ensure that our client can achieve the long term ambition of developing the site for Offices and the wider regeneration of the site and the surrounding area.”
