Nottingham fourth worst city in UK for 4G coverage

Nottingham is the fourth worst place in the UK. to get 4G signal, according to a new report.

OpenSignal and consumer advice organisation Which? has looked at how the top 20 urban areas in Great Britain fared in 4G speed and 4G availability between December 1 and February 28.

Nottingham came fourth bottom of the list, with smartphone users able to log on to 4G just 73.3% of the time.

Leicester fared better, which users being able to find a 4G signal 78.6% of the time.

The best place for 4G signal was Teeside, which boasted 4G coverage 82.7% of the time.

Despite this, 4G speeds in Nottingham were the fifth highest in the UK at 24.2 Mbps, with Leicester faring even better at 24.4 Mbps. Stoke topped the speed list with 26.6 Mbps.
