Blueprint set to get approval for next Meadows development

East Midlands developer Blueprint looks set to be granted planning approval for its second development in the Meadows area of Nottingham.

A planning report to Nottingham City Council’s Planning Committee, which sits this afternoon (17 May) recomends granting permission for Blueprint to build 20 hours and four apartments on the site of the former Trent Works, an engineering site which was demolished some years ago.

The new homes will be priced between £165,000 to £300,000.

The new development, on the corner of Wilford Crescent East and Felton Road will followin the footsteps of Blueprint’s successful Green Street and Hobart & Pitcairn schemes in the Meadows and will be designed by Marsh:Grochowski architects of Nottingham.

Blueprint bought the land last year. In April 2016, Nick Ebbs, chief executive of Blueprint. said: “This is a fantastic site. We know the area well and have always believed it is a great place to live. Buying the Trent Works site enables us to provide more contemporary, low energy, design-focused homes and gives another opportunity to purchasers who might have missed out on our other Meadows projects.”
