On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Nottingham-based design and print agency Ginger Root has appointed three new members of staff.

Katie Sutton joins Ginger Root as account manager, a new role for the company. Justin Hallam has been appointed as the team’s expert in-house sign and print finisher and Nottingham-local Chris Allwright will be supporting Justin in his role as production assistant.

Andy Middleton, director at Ginger Root, said: “The business is going through some big changes and growing at an exciting pace so we are really happy that Katie, Justin and Chris are on board.

“In the last six months, we have moved premises to meet with increasing demand from our customers and these three new appointments will help us to maintain this growth and continue offering our advanced print and design services.”

Ashley Evans and Jack Cousins

Huthwaite metal railings and gates manufacturer Alpha Rail has appointed Ashley Evans as a project engineer and Jack Cousins as the firm’s latest apprentice.

Evans holds a BTEC National Diploma for IT practitioners after studying at South Nottingham College, having previously worked for bespoke joinery firm Realm Projects.

Cousins has also joined the business as a fabrication and welding apprentice.
