Innes England lands BioCity job

Office space is up for grabs at Nottingham’s £30m BioCity extension, the Discovery Building.

Innes England is marketing up to 5,062 sq ft of flexible Grade A office space on the ground floor of the building.

The ground-floor accommodation is split into four office suites ranging from 584 sq ft to 2,079 sq ft, with the ground floor available as a single floorplate.

Toby Reid, managing director for BioCity Group, said: “This is a state-of-the-art building which is home to the UK’s fastest-growing life sciences community which is driving innovation in Nottingham’s rich science sector.

“We have additional space to welcome new tenants into the Discovery Building. The 5,062 square ft ground floor office space will be suitable for SMEs across any sector such as professional services, recruitment companies or legal firms, for example. Our tenants don’t have to be actively working within the research or science sector to be a part of our community.”

Laura Jardine, surveyor for Innes England, said: “The facilities at BioCity are ideal for businesses seeking premier commercial space in the centre of Nottingham and I expect there to be a lot of interest in these premises.

“The flexibility of the suites means that businesses can customise the four suites to suit their needs, or take the whole of the ground floor area.

“Commercial space of this calibre is limited in the region, not least because of the contemporary design and facilities, but the illuminated steel cables on the front of the building which were developed by renowned artist Wolfgang Buttress.

“The accommodation benefits from parking spaces and is in walking distance from Nottingham train station, which is ideal for commuters. We’re proud to be representing this unique offering to the market and I’m confident the offices will be occupied quickly.”
