UK Corporate Games 2017
Europe’s largest multi sports festival is taking place in Nottingham for the first time this weekend. Over 6,000 participants are from across the UK are expected to take part in one or more of the 23 sports on offer at The University of Nottingham. Head along to Turn Post Farm in Leicestershire this weekend for The Great Rempstone Steam and Country Show. The event will host a whole range of activities for the whole family to enjoy, including a White Helmets motorcycle display, scurry driving and the first appearance from the Punjab Lancers in competition. Independents Festival

Head into Nottingham on Saturday to get involved with the Independents Festival. There will be free music and live entertainment to enjoy at Trinity Square, Pelham Square, Middle Pavement and Carlton Street throughout the day. Miss Saigon
The classic musical Miss Saigon is taking to the stage at Leicester’s Curve Theatre this weekend. The story follows 17-year-old Kim, who is forced to work in a Saigon bar in the last few days of the Vitenam War. She soon falls in love with American GI Chris, but are torn apart by the fall of Saigon. Kim goes on a three year long journey to find Chris, who has no idea that he is a father. Find out more here.
