Nottingham energy firm sees huge leap in turnover

Nottingham energy firm Yü Group has seen its turnover for the first half of its financial year leap by almost £14m compared to 2016.

Group revenues for the period are anticipated to be in the region of £19m which compares with £5.1m in the first half of last year. Gross margins in the period have continued to be in line with market expectations.

The firm says it expects to top the £35m turnover mark for the full year to 31 December – ahead of market expectations.

Yü says it already has £20m of revenue in its 2018 pipeline, and has hinted at creating more jobs.

Bobby Kalar, chief executive of Yü Group, said: “We are delighted with the Group’s progress. The business is developing well and we remain focussed on our long term sales growth strategy. Investment in our people and procedures is helping accelerate our rapid growth while maintaining customer satisfaction. I look forward to the future with confidence.”
