Derby business owner lands Anglers Lane site

The owner of Walkup Holdings has bought a 1.85-acre development site at Anglers Lane in Derby in a deal brokered by FHP Property Consultants.

Walkup, who has interests in plant hire, contract earthmoving and haulage established his first company in 1989 and provides a range of services to both the public sector and private construction industry including waste management, transport and environmental solutions.

Tim Richardson from FHP Property Consultants’ Derby office who handled the sale said: “We are pleased that the property matched Mr Walkup’s requirement being in an accessible location and providing the business with the space to expand over the coming years.
