On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Nicola Cooper

A new marketing manager has been appointed at chartered accountants Newby Castleman.

Nicola Cooper has spent the past five years carving her career in marketing, most recently at a digital marketing agency where she managed client accounts and campaigns in a variety of sectors.

Her new role sees her based at Newby Castleman’s Leicester office, looking after all aspects of the firm’s marketing operations, from budgeting and strategy to website content and managing corporate events.

Cooper said: “I’m really happy to be taking up this position at Newby Castleman and I’m eager to start implementing my plans to freshen up our marketing content.

“We have a great team here and I’ve been made to feel very welcome. We host a heap of games nights, challenges and charity events which everyone enjoys.

“I am hoping to grow our digital presence too – we are a local Leicestershire firm and I plan to showcase some of the great events and things in our city and county via our social channels.”

Stephen Castleman, partner at Newby Castleman, said: “It is wonderful for the business to have someone with Nicola’s dynamism on board and we believe she has a major role to play in driving the business forward.

“We have been impressed with the significant contributions she has already made to a number of projects in the short time she has been with the company, such as the launch of our redesigned website and our Hope Against Cancer social media campaign.

“We look forward to supporting Nicola in her efforts to give the firm a more youthful, vibrant image.”
