Nottingham food independent expands into Derby
A Nottingham independent food business is expanding into Derby following a deal brokered by FHP Property Consultants.
Doughnotts is set to open on Sadler Gate, having recently signed a new lease on the former 420 Skate Store in the Cathedral Quarter.
Founded in 2015, Doughnotts opened its first doughnut shop in Nottingham and has chosen chosen Derby for its second store.
Darran Severn from FHP Property Consultants said: “Sadler Gate continues to be a popular destination for both shoppers and retailers and we have seen a number of national retailers locate on Sadler Gate within the last 18 months. These coupled with existing local businesses create an excellent pitch.
“We received strong interest when this property went to market and within the first few weeks we had four offers on the table.”
