On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

James Proctor, Megan Ward and Chantelle Arnold are the new arrivals in Macildowie’s Nottingham office

East Midlands recruitment consultancy Macildowie has added seven new starters.

The appointments include a managing consultant, three recruitment consultants, two trainees and a member of support staff, across its offices in Nottingham, Leicester and Milton Keynes.

Sunil Bali joins the Milton Keynes team as a managing consultant, recruiting in the senior HR space. He was previously head of talent at Vodafone, Santander and Co-op.

Leicester’s newest additions include Becca Wilson, who after a period away working in the family business, re-joins Macildowie, working within the Supply Chain team. Leicester is also welcoming Neale Farthing, who joins as a trainee consultant within the HR division, after a successful rugby youth career, playing for Leicester Tigers Academy and going on to achieve five caps in England’s Under-18 side.

Megan Ward joins the firm’s finance division in Nottingham as a recruitment consultant, while James Proctor joins the procurement and supply team as a trainee. Chantelle Arnold will be the newest recruit to the support team.

Managing director James Taylor said: “We are delighted to be welcoming such a pool of talent within the wider team here at Macildowie. Our internal recruitment process was sparked by an increased demand from our clients to find high quality candidates to support their business needs.”

Lincolnshire housing provider LACE Housing has appointed Anne Graves as its new operations manager.

Having worked in social housing for almost a quarter of a century, Anne joins the team following her role as head of tenancy services for Midlands housing association Longhurst Group.

She has been appointed following the announcement that Philip Hobson, the association’s director of operations for over 11 years, will retire later this year.

“We’ll be sorry to see Philip go but would like to thank him for his unwavering commitment and wish him all the best for the future,” said LACE Housing’s chief executive Nick Chambers.

He added: “Anne is a fantastic addition to the team and I have every confidence that she will excel in her new role. Her formal qualifications and considerable experience in housing, human resources and health and safety demonstrate her dedication to providing excellent and innovative services.”
