Property developer Glebe Construction (Midlands), trading as Glebe Homes, has started work in the village of Barrow on Trent to develop two luxury five bedroom homes due to complete in Q4 later this year.

The news comes after Gleve secured a six-figure funding deal from Royal Bank of Scotland.

The two executive homes on Twyford Road will be marketed as The Vicarage and will be on the market with a price tag of £900,000 and £950,000 for each property.

This will be the second development for Glebe Homes in Barrow on Trent, the first completed in the Autumn of 2016 just off Chapel Lane.

Gary Supple, managing director of Glebe Construction (Midlands), said: “We have built a credible reputation for delivering bespoke developments across Derbyshire and The Vicarage is no exception. Its location and convenient commuter belt will no doubt attract the family market that are looking for a rural location close to all the local amenities on offer.

“We are grateful to Royal Bank of Scotland for once again showing their support and working in partnership to help us continually identify suitable sites to develop. Over the years this has helped us to pave the way for high quality housing in the beautiful county of Derbyshire.”

Andrew McCarthy, relationship director at Royal Bank of Scotland, said: “There was never any doubt we were going to support the Glebe Homes team with their next development given they have proven to us time and time again that they are true professionals in their field and continue to deliver exceptional properties to the housing market. We wish Gary and the team all the best as they progress The Vicarage to a successful completion later this year.”
