Rolls-Royce set for profits boost
Derby manufacturing giant Rolls-Royce is expected to report better-than-expected half year results this week, according to reports over the weekend.
The news will come as a boost to chief executive Warren East who was drafted in two years ago to turn around the creaking company.
The Daily Mail is reporting that predict that half-year profits in Rolls-Royce’s civil aerospace division will have more than trebled to £102m compared to the same period last year, and profits to climb 85 per cent to £193m.
Despite this, cash flow at the firm is set to dip, says The Mail.
Rolls-Royce currently has a £71bn order book.
