On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Timico, the managed cloud service provider, based in Newark, has made four new senior hires.

Kirsty Johnson has been recruited as client operations director responsible for all service desks, provisioning teams and client service teams.

In a new position, Colin Riddle has been appointed as head of products and services, with responsibility for Timico’s entire portfolio. He will lead a team of product managers to develop and deliver Timico’s Managed Cloud Service Provider proposition.

Martin Riley has joined Timico in a further new role as head of application development and technical strategy, accountable for enabling the digital transformation of the business, planning and delivering the integration of company-wide solutions to improve the delivery of service to Timico’s clients.

Finally, Joanne Smith has been promoted within Timico to the newly created position of head of client service management. Joanne first joined Timico in 2007 and has worked in client-facing roles ever since, most recently as strategic account director where she looked after some of Timico’s largest customers.

Property and real estate consultancy Naismiths has strengthened its Midlands team with the appointment of a senior consultant.

Luke Voce will join the Leicester office, where he will work within the national project monitoring team.

He said: “Naismiths is a growing consultancy that is going from strength to strength and is consistently being appointed on prestigious projects all over the country.

“It is the natural next step in my career path and I’m looking forward to continuing my professional development under the guidance of a very talented and experienced management team.”

Naismith started his career in 2012 as a graduate building surveyor with a global consultancy, after completing a master’s degree in Building Surveying at Nottingham Trent University, progressing to the position of lead surveyor.

Marcus Higgins, national head of project monitoring services, said: “Luke is an extremely bright talent with a great future ahead of him. We are extremely happy to have brought him on board and are confident he will prove to be a very valued asset.”
