Crash brings delays to M1 on Leicestershire/Northants border

Highways England is reporting long delays on the M1 northbound between Junction 16 (Daventry) and Junction 18 (Hinckley) due to a collision closing one lane between Junction 17 and Junction 18.

Road users intending on using this section of road are advised to allow plenty of extra time for their journey and to consider alternative routes (if possible).
