EY reveals new head of Midlands tax
EY has announced the promotions of two partners and four executive directors based in the Midlands, along with the appointment of Linda Marston-Weston as head of Midlands tax.
Alex Christoforou and Nick Fox have both been internally promoted to the role of partner. Christoforou is part of EY’s international tax practice, providing corporate income tax advice on cross- border transactions to clients. Fox has been promoted to a partner in the Infrastructure Transactions Group at EY and has over 16 years’ experience advising corporate and financial investors on a wide range of transactions.
Linda Marston-Weston has been appointed head of Midlands tax, with responsibility for growing EY’s local tax practice. She has been a partner at EY since 1999 when she moved to Birmingham from London to set up EY’s Transaction Tax team, focused on providing private equity and corporate transaction tax advice to clients in the Midlands.
Other senior promotions are; Dan Hurd in EY’s restructuring team; Jessica Thompson in EY’s People Advisory Services team; Martin Stevens and Elaine Shiels in EY’s tax team, who have all been promoted to executive director.
