Nottingham demolition plan brings offices a step closer

25 Station Street

Bildurn has submitted a planning application to demolish for the former job centre on Station Street in Nottingham as part of its plans for second phase of office accommodation in the area.

In June, Bildurn revealed that it was set to turn 11 Station Street into 50,000 sq ft of Grade A office space.

Now, the developer wants to demolish the 25 Station Street eyesore in preparation for a second phase of offices on the street.

Bildurn wants to turn 11 Station Street into offices and market it towards professional services, indigenous Nottingham businesses, companies looking to move to Nottingham and contact centres.

Sean Akins of Bildurn said: “We’re looking at submitting a planning application before the end of the year. Everyone is aware of the pent up demand for new office stock and there is very little new space which encouraged us to refurbish this building.”
