Nottingham bar and restaurant to open biggest site yet

Bunk is set to open its fourth – and largest yet – venue in the centre of Nottingham.

The wings and cocktails restaurant and bar, which recently revealed it was opening in Derby, is set to open in the 3,000 sq ft basement of the Hydrogen Building – the student accommodation block in Nottingham city centre.

The deal to bring forward Bunk’s new venue on Wollaton Street was brokered by Box Property.

Frankie Labbate, director at Box Property, told TheBusinessDesk.com: “Ever since we started Box Property, I have been really keen to work with Bunk. I have worked with them on other projects and have always admired how they go about their business and had a great relationship with the guys.

“Bunk are one of a handful of local innovative businesses we have identified and working with as having that special on trend product, market relevant branding, ambition and confidence to grow and key personnel operating the business within a gap in the market where we feel we can add value and help them expand into other cities.

“The deal on the Hydrogen unit was identified, negotiated and completed swiftly once the brief was set with both sides happy with the end result. The landlord has secured a top quality operator which will complement the rest of the development and my client has secured a new site bang on brand and brief in a part of the city its wanted representation in for a long time.”

Labatte added: “With the new Derby site secured in recent days also, this takes the brand to four bars regionally with hopefully more to follow in 2018.”
