On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Audit, tax and consulting firm RSM has appointed Dave Graham as a new business development director for the Midlands.

Graham, who will be based at RSM’s Leicester office in Grove Park, joins RSM from PKF Cooper Parry in Derbyshire. Prior to that he spent 15 years at Natwest in the East Midlands, initially working in corporate and commercial banking roles before becoming business development director in 2010.

In his new role for RSM, Graham will work on building relationships with middle market businesses across the Birmingham, Leicester and Nottingham markets.

Mark Taylor, RSM’s regional managing partner said: “With a strong background in corporate and commercial banking, Dave is well placed to understand the opportunities and challenges facing local businesses. He is also well-known across the region’s business community and has an extensive network of contacts. Professor Denise Skinner has been named as the new chair of the Chartered Management Institute’s East Midlands Board.

The business academic and Coventry University emeritus professor takes up her new role this month.

Skinner is the former executive dean of the faculty of business, environment, and society at Coventry University. She has now been appointed to head up CMI’s East Midlands Board for a two-year term of office.

Professor Skinner said: “I’m committed to championing excellent leadership and outstanding management practice in organisations. CMI plays a key role in this agenda and I welcome the opportunity to work with East Midlands Board to support our members at all stages of their career.”
