More than 120 people gathered at the Walled Garden at Beeston Fields Golf Club for a charity Glitter Ball, sponsored by Nottingham HR and employment law specialists, Your HR Lawyer.

The black-tie and sparkle gala raised almost £6,000 for the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA). Guests enjoyed a three-course dinner, entertainment, raffle and charity auction.

Nickie Elenor managing director at Your HR Lawyer, said that she was ‘delighted’ by the success of the Glitter Ball.

“The MNDA makes a real difference to the lives of those with the condition, so we were proud to support the charity by sponsoring the Glitter Ball. I’d like to thank everyone for all the generous donations – it was a real success and people gave generously.”

Held on 29 September, money raised from the event will be used to support people with MND and their families, particularly those living in Nottingham, Leicestershire and Rutland. It will also help to fund research into the condition and raise public awareness.
