On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Rob Haigh

Harris Lamb has appointed surveyor Rob Haigh to its Nottingham office.

Haigh joins the Regent Street office from Fisher German, where he has spent the past five years.

He said: “As a Nottingham lad born and bred, my intention was, at some point in my career, to work in Nottingham and seek to influence and develop my home city.

“Harris Lamb is an exciting, forward-thinking and fast growing company with an excellent reputation across the Midlands, and when the opportunity came to relocate and join the team in the Nottingham office, I was delighted.

“It’s an important time for the property market in Nottingham and the East Midlands generally with HS2 set to provide greater access between major cities across the country and the region being at the heart of that.

“The recent Victoria Centre refurbishment and ongoing development of the Broadmarsh Centre and the surrounding locality promise a positive future for retail in the city centre, and with the city and urban fringe office market and industrial sector – particularly along the M1 corridor – moving from strength to strength, there is a lot to be excited about in Nottingham.”

Victoria Trafford, director at Harris Lamb’s Nottingham office, said: “We are extremely pleased that Rob has agreed to join the ranks of our Nottingham team.

“The Agency and Investment aspects of the business continue to manage huge numbers of deals across the West Midlands and the UK in general, so we were very keen to have such a respected operator, especially one with such a passion for the region and so much insight into it, on board.

“We’re confident that Rob will prove a valuable asset to the business and we’re looking forward to driving forward in the region.”
