Michelle Young

Law firm Rothera Sharp has promoted one of its associates to head up its residential conveyancing department.

Michelle Young, who is based at the firm’s West Bridgford office, will lead the 16-strong residential team – one of the biggest in the county.

Michelle started her career with Rothera Sharp in 1987 at the firm’s Wollaton office, transferring to the West Bridgford branch in 2006. She advises clients on all aspects of conveyancing including remortgages and matrimonial property transfers, and she specialises in assisting clients with shared ownership property. She is also on the panel of several housing associations.

She said: “I am really looking forward to my new role, leading the department to be the best it can be in terms of client care and satisfaction and ensuring that clients receive the highest levels of expertise and service.”

Ann-Marie Bowman, managing partner at Rothera Sharp, said: “Michelle is a very well respected conveyancer and also has the skills and attributes required to lead our conveyancing team. I am delighted that she has accepted this role.”

Rothera Sharp has eight offices including its head office in the Lace Market, Nottingham.
