Steak restaurant planned for Nottingham city centre hotel

Whitbread is to open a Bar + Block Steakhoouse in one of its Nottingham hotels.

The restaurant will be located in the Premier Inn hotel on Chapel Bar, according to documents submitted to Nottingham City Council.

Bar + Block first opened its doors in Birmingham in March 2016, and the brand now has three further venues in King’s Cross, Whiteley and Bath.

The main menu includes steaks which are hand cut to order as well as the restaurant’s ‘Butchers Block’ – a rotating range of limited time only, one of a kind steaks. The restaurant also offers a variety of other dishes including gourmet burgers ground on-site, fresh salads, British classics and puddings.

Whitbread owns both the Premier Inn and Bar + Block brands.
