With a week to go until the hottest event of November, we sat down with Ash Cowdrey, director at Couch Perry Wilkes, and Amy Revell, business development executive at Paragon Interiors, to find out more about why they decided to sponsor Nottingham Hot Property (NHP).

Ash said: “Couch Perry Wilkes (CPW) have sponsored Hot Property for the last three years as we’re big fans of the event and always honoured to be involved. It’s a highlight of the social calendar as bumping into friends and allies in a very casual atmosphere is always a giggle.

“I’m the only one from CPW getting up on stage this year and I’ll be performing La Bamba as I’m learning Spanish at the moment – I’m not the greatest singer but I am an excellent dad dancer!

“I’m truly in awe of the band members and organisers at NHP as they play all the tunes so professionally and without question – they really are the unsung heroes of the event and seeing the effort that goes in behind the scenes is amazing. It’s going to be a fantastic event!”

Amy added: “I was a guest last year and thought that it was a really fun and exciting event that engages with the property and construction industry in a really informal way.

“This is our first year sponsoring and we decided to get involved as not only is it a brilliant event but it is also for a really worthwhile cause. Rainbows is a charity that various people across the company have connections with and it does such great and meaningful work that we are really pleased to be supporting them.”

Alongside Paragon Interiors and Couch Perry Wilkes there are eight other sponsors for Hot Property 2017, including: Millward, Pulse Associates, Samclo Construction, F+G, Cleggs Solicitors, Roythornes, CPMG and Browne Jacobson. Joining these will be the event’s media partner The Business Desk, PR agency Cartwright Communications and design agency Blimey Creative.

Now in its thirteenth year, Hot Property is an annual fundraising event attended by leading professionals in Nottingham. It aims to showcase the best talent in the city, while raising thousands of pounds to support vulnerable children.
