Bake-Off star opens Leicester dessert parlour

A contestant from popular TV series Great British Bake-Off has opened a dessert parlour in Leicester.

SPACE, acting on behalf of an offshore trust, has let 88 Granby Street to Rebus Domes, the company owned by Ali Imdad, who appeared in 2013 series The Great British Bake Off.

Ali and his business partner Michail, produce desserts including Signature Melting Domes, Afternoon Tea, Smoking Desserts & Mocktails.

Martin Herbert of SPACE said: “The offering of Rebus Domes is fantastic news for the city and certainly brings to Leicester quality desserts rarely seen outside of London. Having already sampled a couple of their creations I can highly recommend Rebus Domes to anyone with a sweet tooth who wants an experience!”
