Reflex Labels is celebrating the success of Bar Graphic Machinery’s 25th anniversary year by celebrating the 10th year of a working relationship between the two companies.

Reflex has bought its 25th machine from BGM, after purchasing their first machine ten years ago in 2007.

Ian Kendall, managing director of Reflex, said: “From the first installation to the most recent one, the reliability of the BGM machines has been exceptional.”

“The service, backup and technical knowledge has also enabled BGM to shine through as a leader supplier to Reflex.”

Daniel Carr, sales manager at BGM, added “Reflex have shown strong commitment to BGM and we are proud to be a part of their continuous growth and expansion plans. The latest equipment installed by BGM caters for larger unwinds but also enables more complex substrates, meaning Reflex can become more specialised.”

Reflex has recently introduced five 450mm-wide 450 Ecoflex full servo multiple substrate inspection slitter rewinders, for unsupported and supported substrates from 11 micron upwards. Fitted with BGM’s intelligent tension control system, the machines are fitted with a 1-metre capacity unwind system with their latest innovative mandrel inflation system.

Kendall added: “The BGM Elite inspection slitter rewinders have proven to be outstanding, especially in achieving very high speeds with very difficult substrates.”

Mansfield-quartered Reflex Labels saw revenues surge in the 12 months to February 2017, and says with the addition of another BGM machine the company is expecting further growth in sales this year.
