Toby Carvery Colwick Park has honoured Nottingham Forest European Cup winners, Colin Barrett and John Robertson, as well as Nottingham based filmmaker, Johnny Owen, after the restaurant reopened on Saturday 11th November following an extensive remodel.

The Nottingham Toby Carvery celebrated the Forest legends and the director of “I Believe in Miracles”, a film that documents Forest’s back to back European Cup wins, by inviting Colin, John and Johnny to officially reopen the new look restaurant, making them guests of honour at a ceremonial ribbon cutting ceremony.

The Carvery have also announced their continued support for local charity, Danielle’s Flutterbyes, a Nottingham based organisation who help support children and young people suffering from kidney disease, with a host of fundraising events and activities planned in the upcoming months.

Located on Dalesdale Road, the refreshed Toby Carvery resumed serving roasts to diners after an extensive two-week refurbishment. Following a significant investment in the restaurant ten new jobs have been created for the local area.

General manager, James Dean, said: “We’re so pleased at how brilliant Toby Carvery Colwick Park looks following the refurbishment, and we were thrilled to have had both Colin, John and Johnny cut the ceremonial ribbon for us.

“Colin and John are true Nottingham Forest Legends, and it was amazing to see them come down and support us following our reopening. We were also very happy to have had Johnny come along too, he’s a brilliant filmmaker and his film about Nottingham Forest documents a momentous time for this city.

“We’re also really excited to be continuing our support for Danielle’s Flutterbyes. They’re a brilliant local charity and we’re so proud to be supporting them through a variety of fundraising events and activities.

“For many, the great British roast is the ultimate heart-warming food, and we just can’t wait to serve the people of Nottingham and the surrounding area a traditional dinner in our fresh surroundings. With our specially trained chefs, friendly and attentive team, and our warm and welcoming atmosphere, guests will find their new look Toby Carvery is the perfect place to get together and enjoy a delicious roast dinner.”
