LSH makes Lincoln promotion

The Lincoln office Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) has announced that James Straw has been promoted to surveyor in its valuation team.

Straw will be primarily based within the valuation department but also has experience of agency, lease advisory and planning and development work.

He said: “It has been hard work managing my time between my Master’s course, professional competence qualification and day-to-day role, so I am delighted to achieve the RICS qualification.

“I am looking forward to working within the Lincoln valuation department, which has grown significantly over the last 12 months. We see great potential for future growth.”

Straw will work alongside Lincoln valuation director Arthur Hartshorne in developing the valuation department further.

Hartshorne said: “James deserves this promotion after two years’ hard work, balancing his day job with university and RICS APC work. James will, I am sure, rise to the new challenges that now face him and continue to deliver dedication and professionalism to his clients and colleagues.

“The team has helped and supported him over the time he has been with the firm, giving him the opportunity to develop the skills, experience and knowledge he needed to progress his career.

“All the directors recognise that developing and retaining our employees plays a key role in providing clients with a high level of service and James is integral to this.”
