£10m scheme set to bring 166 homes to Coalville

Homebuilder Avant Homes has bought a 17.8-acre site in Coalville for a £9.8m development of 166 new homes, as part of its continued investment in the region.

The developer has been granted outline planning permission for its Collingsgate development, which is located off Greenhill Road. The proposed new homes will be a mixture of two, three and four-bedroom semi-detached and detached houses.

The homebuilder also plans to deliver a tree-lined main entrance and spine road and will retain existing dry stone feature walls at many locations throughout the development.

Avant Homes Midlands managing director, Glyn Mabey, said: “We are pleased to have been granted outline planning permission for 166 new homes in Coalville and we are keen to share our detailed plans with housebuyers in the area.

“The purchase of land in Coalville further demonstrates our commitment to deliver high-quality new homes in the region and follows on from recent land acquisitions in Newark, Nottingham and Mansfield.”

Avant says it will also spend more than £650,000 in education, infrastructure and travel initiatives.
