On the move: the latest East Midlands hires
Derby-based MSG Tours has recruited two new team members as part of its plans for expansion.
Grace Mumford and Lucy Hey join the specialist travel operator — which delivers bespoke educational, ski and sports trips.
MSG’s Founder, Mark Gardner, said: “I am delighted to welcome such skilled and talented individuals as Grace and Lucy.
“It’s been a very significant year for MSG, most notably establishing a new base of operations in Europe. Having the core staff to support that kind of rapid growth, here and internationally, is incredibly important.
“Fortunately, we’re uniquely positioned within an industry that attracts the right kind of passion and talent. We’ve been lucky enough to establish a very strong team across all areas of the business, including a few professional star-signings of our own to co-ordinate sports tours and training camps overseas.”
Hey said: “Being part of such a creative, dynamic group of people is really inspiring. I’m looking forward to helping the company continue to grow and I’m excited to see where the next few years will take us — I’ve always fancied visiting Japan, myself.”
Charlene Evans and George Sale
Waste management and energy consultancy Blue Castle Group has expanded its team further following the appointment of George Sale and Charlene Evans.
Evans previously worked for Coca Cola Enterprises as an account manager in the grocery sector. Prior to this, she spent eight years working within the data industry as a national account manager.
In her new role at Blue Castle Group as Campaign Manager, she will be heading up the marketing team.
The second new appointment is George Sale who has joined as a Sales Manager.
In his new role at Blue Castle Group, Sale will manage and develop three new business development managers in both the waste and energy divisions.
The company, which is based in Long Bennington near Newark now employs 35 people.
