Cinema operator to open in £70m Lincoln scheme

Everyman Cinemas is set to open a 12,000 sq ft cinema at Lincolnshire Co-op’s £70m retail and leisure scheme, the Cornhill Quarter, in Lincoln.

Property Week reports that the cinema will include four screens, and hold 270 people.

Everyman joins other retailers signed up for the scheme including Cosy Club, Moss Bros and Flying Tiger Copenhagen.

Lincolnshire Co-op’s chief executive Ursula Lidbetter said: “This is an important step in moving towards our vision of delivering an exciting range of shops and restaurants suitable for the local catchment and wider region.”

Everyman chief executive Crispin Lilly said: “Our cinema offer is all about delivering a great night out and, with a broad range of quality films and events combined with our discerning bar and social spaces, we believe that Everyman Cinemas will complement this scheme perfectly.”
