Nottingham construction firm lands Center Parcs contracts

Nottingham-based construction company, Edmond Shipway, has won a new contract with Center Parcs.

Edmond Shipway will be providing a range of services on a construction project to create three new two-storey treehouses at Center Parcs Woburn Forest. The company will be providing mechanical and electrical and cost consultancy services as well as managing the project build.

They will be built high above the ground amongst the treetops within the surrounding woodland and are due to open in summer 2018.

Edmond Shipway has also recently completed the development of new feature water rides at the Center Parcs in Longleat Forest. This includes a new family Cyclone ride, a new two-person ride and a range of children’s play water features.

Over in Ireland, mechanical and electrical contractors have been appointed for the new €233m Center Parcs Longford Forest – the first in the country.

Edmond Shipway is acting as mechanical and electrical consultants, project managers, cost consultants and electrical engineers on the new village, which will have up to 500 lodges and more than 100 indoor and outdoor activities.

Infrastructure works have already been completed, with the rest of the work due to be completed in 2019.

Lastly, at the Center Parcs Whinfell Forest in the Lake District, a project to build ten exclusive lodges has recently been completed.
