Manufacturer relocates to 25,000 sq ft Ashby unit

A Leicestershire designer and manufacturer of laminating systems is set to relocate to a new 25,000 sq ft facility in Ashby-de-la-Zouch.

Vivid Laminating Technologies has bought the Grade A space on CWC Group’s Ivanhoe Business Park in a deal brokered by Tim Gilbertson of FHP Property Specialist and Phil Randle of Salloway.

Managing director of Vivid Laminating Technologies, Martin Edwards, said: “This move will be truly transforming for Vivid with our new manufacturing facility, larger showroom and offices.

“It’s the perfect site to receive our customers from all over the world. The amenity of the business park is second to none.”

Randle said: “The latest occupier we have managed to attract to Ivanhoe Business Park is Vivid Laminating Technologies Limited. Previously based in Coalville, we are delighted to welcome them to Ivanhoe Business Park as this expansion and relocation will enable their business to go from strength to strength.

“This deal sees all the industrial and distribution land now developed out at Ivanhoe, where well over 200,000 sq ft of space has been built in recent years. We wish Vivid well in their expansion and relocation.”

James Richards, development director of CWC Group, said: “This is the last of our industrial/distribution deals on the park as we now simply have some new build office space available to either purchase or rent.

“Ivanhoe Business Park has been one of the group’s best-performing schemes for many years and whilst a source of great satisfaction in bringing Vivid Laminating Technologies to the site, with the development of a bespoke 25,000 sq ft unit for them it is tinged with a little sadness as this was the last plot available on the park.

“We do hope that we will have opportunities on other sites to bring much needed space to the market in the region as Ashby and surrounding areas continues to struggle for stock.

“In the meantime though we wish Vivid well for the future at what we know will be a fantastic location for them.”
