Two Derby-based creatives have joined forces in a move they say will expand their client base and create more opportunities for up-and-coming professionals.

Photographer Mark Averill and video and film specialist Ash Stanley have started working in collaboration on a number of clients.

These include NK Motors, Bounce Revolution and Hatton Systems. The pair say there are several projects with major companies and brands in the pipeline.

Averill has been based in Iron Gate since he launched nearly two years ago and works with a number of major clients including Mercedes, Bowmer & Kirkland and East Midlands Chamber.

He has now moved to Ash Stanley’s Artifex photography and media studio in Shaftsbury Street.

He said: “I increasingly act as a client’s project manager which requires additional audio and visual skills.

“Working in collaboration with Ash, we can jointly provide all of a client’s audio and visual marketing requirements from video and voice overs to creative photography.”

Stanley has worked in the audio visual industry for many years and has an impressive client list from international celebrities to such brands as Specsavers, Alton Towers and Nicky Clarke haircare and styling product range. He also provides all regional cinema advertisements for Pearl & Dean across the UK.

He said: “The results of our collaboration work are already achieving outstanding results and we are confident that this will lead to an increased client portfolio across the UK.

“As we grow our client base, we will be looking to work in further collaborations with other creatives and are particularly keen to harness the up and coming talent across Derby which is becoming known as a centre of excellence for the creative industries.”
