Mansfield restaurant sold for £275,000

A Mansfield restaurant has been sold to a Nottinghamshire investment company for around £275,000.

Everard Cole brokered the sale of the Grade II listed former Vhojon restaurant in Mansfield.
The property, formally known as Field Mill House, is situated on Nottingham Road, on the edge of Mansfield, and was sold just before the Christmas holidays.

The investment company said it is investigating a number of potential options for the site, including continuing as a restaurant.

Everard Cole director Jon Heald said: “The former Vhojon restaurant has enormous potential to either continue with the previous restaurant-licensed trade or be utilised for alternative use and the marketing generated terrific interest from a number of operators.

“The volume of interest in the property is indicative of the current licensed property market, where we’re seeing demand exceeding supply and we wish the new owners all the best for the future.”
