On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

(L-R) Monika Anszperger, Tim Wilson and Carol Ell

Three members of the team at Nottingham civil and structural engineering firm BSP Consulting have been promoted to new positions.

Chartered civil engineer Carol Ell and chartered structural engineer Monika Anszperger have become associates, while associate Tim Wilson has stepped up to associate director.

Ell, who works in BSP’s Leicester office in De Montfort Street, joined the company in July 2004, while Anszperger, who is based in the Derby office at Pride Park, joined in January 2014.

Wilson, who has been with BSP since 2005, heads up the civil engineering team in Leicester.

BSP managing director David Sumner said: “These changes reflect the much-increased responsibility levels that Tim, Carol and Monika now embrace and perform for the company. I and the BSP team congratulate them on their achievement.”

Emily McDonough has been appointed to lead business expansion of an energy and water-saving company in the Midlands following a £3.2m investment deal.

SaveMoneyCutCarbon has tasked McDonough, based in Lichfield, with building business across the Midlands.

She previously worked in healthcare services and at Coca-Cola.

The potential for further rapid growth as energy and water bills continue to rise was a key driver of the successful conclusion of the £3.2 million investment round by IW Capital.

SaveMoneyCutCarbon chief executive Mark Sait said the investment would expand the company’s presence on the ground in the region to deliver savings, payback and peace of mind.

He said: “Many businesses and other organisations such as colleges and schools can gain immense financial benefits by reducing energy and water consumption. We are driving awareness and partnering with them to reap the rewards of becoming a sustainable operation.

“Emily will be in the region and work with our wider team to deliver building surveys and product specification through to project management and installation. She will build investment-ready proposals and deliver our range of new financing options including a completely capital-free option.”
