A Nottingham gym says it is ready to expand just 12 months after it opened for business.

With nearly 500 members, Kinetik fitness on Bottle Lane says it has “significantly expanded” due to a “fresh approach to fitness training”.

The business offers personal training sessions, its own fitness app, gym equipment and over 30 classes a week for its members, including yoga, circuit training, spinning, spartan rig workouts and meditation.

Husband and wife duo Sarah and Ali West, who together have over 13 years of experience in the fitness industry, are the owners of Kinetik Fitness.

The pair have ambitious expansion plans for the gym, including doubling the number of classes on offer, introducing further equipment and growing their members from 500 to 750, They also say they are bringing further jobs to the city as they are recruiting for another personal trainer, bringing the team to five.

Ali West, who ran a personal training business for five years prior to Kinetik Fitness, said: “It’s fantastic to have reached our first year in business and to have helped hundreds of men and women to achieve their fitness goals over the past 12 months.

“The success of the gym so far is testament to our dedicated team who always put our members first and deliver the best. Being at the helm of the business is extremely rewarding and we’re proud to be providing our services in Nottingham, which is a fantastic city to live and work in.

“We are now looking at the year ahead and have lots of plans in the pipeline, with more staff appointments, events, new equipment and more classes on our schedule. It’s a very exciting time for us.”
